There is a famine going on right now in Ethiopia. Pictures like this (a 3 year old Ethiopian child weighing less than 10 pounds) make it very difficult for me to stick to this adoption process. I don't understand why it has to be so complicated.
Why can't I just jump on a plane right now, go help the people of Ethiopia and bring all the starving children home with me? Please pray for Ethiopia (and Somalia, Kenya and Djibouti). And please pray for my faith to be continually renewed. I trust in Jesus and I know all things will work together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose. I pray that in due season, His plan will be revealed.
